Best Places to Take Photos in Houston, TX

Houston has always been on my travel wishlist, and for good reason. I've heard incredible things about this city, from its diverse culinary scene to its vibrant culture. However, what truly captivates me are the endless photo opportunities it offers. When I finally had the chance to visit Houston, I made it a priority to discover the best locations for that perfect shot.

#1: Smither Park

Location: 2441 Munger St, Houston, TX 77023

Note: Since the exhibits is the park consist of mirrors it can get really hot. So, dress as light as you can.

#2: Gerald D. Hines Waterwall

Location: 2800 Post Oak Blvd, Houston, TX 77056

Note: Get there early (before 11:30 AM CST) because it can get pretty crowded.

#3: BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir

Location: 1150 Brand Ln, Stafford, TX 77477

Note: Photography here is pretty restricted (with a professional camera), but you can definitely take photos. However, photography/video of any kind is prohibited inside of the temple.
