Best Photo Spots in Reykjavik, Iceland
Iceland is one of the most visually unreal places I’ve ever visited, and Reykjavik is a great place to start if you want architecture, waterfront views, colorful streets, and some of the city’s most recognizable landmarks.
These are the spots I actually photographed and would recommend if you want strong photos without spending your whole trip chasing locations.
Some are iconic, some are quieter, but all of them gave me something worth stopping for.
💡 SHANE’S TIP
The weather in Reykjavik can change fast, so don’t wait around for “perfect” conditions. Some of my favorite shots came from cloudy, windy, or dramatic weather that actually made the city feel more like Iceland.
